As a CSR, you will serve as the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while assisting with orders, payments, product information, and daily site operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering accurate, professional, and friendly service. We are looking for a team player who is organized, detail-oriented, and willing to take initiative to support both our customers and operations team.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales Support Greet and assist customers in person, over the phone, by email, and through text messaging. Answer questions regarding products, pricing, availability, orders, and delivery options. Provide product information and recommendations to help customers select appropriate materials. Conduct outbound customer outreach to support sales and customer relationships.

Communicate promotions, seasonal offers, and available products to customers. Maintain accurate customer contact information and communication preferences. Encourage customer feedback and positive reviews. Order Processing & Cash Handling Accurately enter and process customer orders. Accept customer payments and maintain accurate transaction records.

Manage and balance cash drawers daily. Follow established cash-handling and reconciliation procedures. Dispatch & Site Operations Assist with coordinating deliveries and communicating with drivers and yard personnel. Operate vehicle scales, record weights, and maintain accurate transaction documentation as needed. Answer and direct incoming telephone calls.

Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment. Support daily administrative and operational activities as assigned.

Qualifications

Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic math skills and the ability to accurately process transactions. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Professional, courteous, and customer-focused attitude.

Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to following company policies and safety procedures. Preferred: Previous experience in customer service, retail, sales support, or an administrative role. Experience processing customer payments and balancing cash drawers. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
