What You Will Do

In this customer-facing position, you translate concerns about a vehicle into clear, actionable work orders that guide the service team. You will greet customers, listen carefully to their questions, and keep them informed from the moment they arrive until they drive away satisfied. Greet customers in person and by phone, documenting their vehicle concerns accurately and completely.

Prepare detailed repair orders and communicate recommended services, timelines, and estimated costs. Act as the liaison between customers and technicians, relaying diagnostic findings in plain language. Schedule appointments and manage the daily workflow to keep the shop moving efficiently. Follow up on the status of repairs and proactively update customers on any changes.

Review completed work with customers, explaining what was done and answering remaining questions. Maintain organized service records and process paperwork with attention to detail. Identify opportunities for maintenance that protect the longevity of each customer's vehicle.

What We Are Looking For

Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient manner with customers. A working understanding of vehicle systems and common repair services, or a willingness to learn quickly.

Experience in a service writing, customer service, or automotive support role is a plus. Comfort using computers, scheduling tools, and service management software. Excellent organization and the ability to manage several tasks at once in a busy shop. A valid driver's license and the ability to move vehicles safely when needed.
