Payroll Accountant

The Payroll Accountant is responsible for the accounting, reporting, and compliance of payroll activities for a multi-unit Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) organization. This role requires accounting knowledge and independent ownership of payroll-related accounting activities. The Payroll Accountant owns payroll-related general ledger activity, balance-sheet reconciliations, tax reconciliations, the payroll-related portions of the period-end close, and quarterly analysis of payroll-generated accounts, ensuring payroll expenses and liabilities are accurately reflected in the Company's financial records.

The position operates in a high-volume, fast-paced environment supporting both restaurant and corporate employees.
