Sr Business Analyst

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT Contract Type: Permanent Work Location: Seoul or Yangsan, Korea PURPOSE The Senior Business Analyst will connect business stakeholders, data teams, and technology partners, translating business needs into data products, analytics solutions, and actionable insights. The role requires hands-on experience in data analysis, requirements management, visualization, solution testing, and stakeholder management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications, business rules, user stories, and solution designs. Facilitate stakeholder discussions to understand business needs, align priorities, and validate requirements. Analyze data to investigate business issues, identify root causes, validate hypotheses, and uncover opportunities.

Support ad hoc analysis and recurring solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data products. Build or support dashboards and visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI. Identify data quality issues and work with relevant teams to improve data readiness. Develop and execute functional test plans and support UAT and solution adoption.

Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Architects, Data Governance Leads, and business teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

3-5+ years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, data product delivery, or a related field. Hands-on experience in data investigation, exploratory analysis, validation, and insight generation. Strong ability to translate business needs into analytics solutions and practical recommendations. Experience with BI and visualization tools, especially Power BI.

Understanding of data quality, preparation, and governance principles. Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Ability to communicate data insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. PREFERRED Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience with commercial, sales, marketing, consumer, CX, or business performance data. Familiarity with LeanIX or business/process modelling tools. Experience in agile or product-based delivery environments. Relevant business analysis or analytics certifications are a plus.
