Job Summary

The 7th Grade Girls Basketball Coach is responsible for leading and developing student-athletes in a middle school program. This role emphasizes teaching fundamental volleyball skills, building teamwork, and promoting sportsmanship while preparing players for high school competition.

Requirements

• NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching & the CA State Component
• Concussion Certificate
• Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate
• Valid CPR Certificate
• Valid First Aid Certificate
• Heat Acclimatization Certificate
• TB test
• Guidelines for the Workplace & Youth Sports Protocol & Recommendations (link will be provided)
• Mandated Reporter (Child Abuse Certificate)
• Fingerprint clearance (once hired, the applicant will receive an appointment from Human Resources for the fingerprint process) Comments and Other Information The salaries to be paid for extra duty assignments are based on a percentage of Column Il of the existing salary schedule. Internal candidates will be considered first with Certificated personnel being priority followed by classified and other personnel.
