Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Logistics Intern to support our freight operations. This role provides hands-on experience in coordinating truck shipments, managing logistics data, and ensuring the timely movement of goods across the country. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the logistics team in booking trucks and coordinating shipments with carriers. Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve delays. Help maintain accurate records of shipping documentation, schedules, and carrier information. Input and manage logistics data in transportation management systems (TMS). Communicate with carriers and internal teams.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field. Strong communication and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with data entry. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Interest in the food distribution and transportation industry.

Position would be in office, based out of Irvine, CA.

Compensation

Hands-on experience in logistics within the food industry. Mentorship from experienced logistics professionals. Flexible schedule (15-40 hours per week) to accommodate school or other commitments. Potential for a full-time role based on performance. Free daily lunch, unlimited snacks, and refreshments. $25.00 per hour.
