Laboratory Practice Representative II (Phlebotomist)
Job description
Performs various front desk and phlebotomy duties in an ambulatory laboratory setting including such functions as complete demographic and insurance registration, scheduling patients and/or verifying insurance information, phlebotomy specimen collection and quality checks of samples. Must be fully certified in patient registration and phlebotomy; and other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred Completion of an accredited program in Phlebotomy 5-10 years of Phlebotomy experience Two to three years medical office experience General understanding and application of basic accounting principles PC proficiency Strong customer service skills <
