Collections / Payment Processing Representative

Description CarShield is seeking a Collections Representative to join its growing Payment Processing and Collections team. In this role, you will handle inbound and outbound calls with existing customers, assist with past-due accounts, and help customers bring their accounts current. In this role, you will: Handle inbound and outbound calls with existing customers regarding past-due accounts.

Collect payments and assist customers with bringing their accounts current. Maintain a positive, customer-first approach while communicating clearly and professionally. Accurately document customer interactions and payment activity in applicable systems. Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation

and Benefits $17 per hour plus performance bonus opportunities; average hourly earnings are approximately $21-$25. Requirements

Ability to work on-site at CarShield's headquarters in St. Peters, Missouri. At least two years of experience in a call center environment; collections experience preferred. Strong verbal communication skills and a professional phone presence. Excellent customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.

Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to receive and apply coaching and constructive feedback. Basic computer and typing skills. Ability to obtain the license required by the State of Missouri; CarShield supports the application process and fee.
