Agency: BBDO Job Function: Creative Job Subfunction: Creative Direction Job Description: Key Responsibilities Creative Leadership Lead the development of integrated creative concepts and campaign ideas. Provide creative direction and guidance to copywriters and multidisciplinary creative teams. Ensure all creative output is strategically aligned, culturally relevant and of the highest standard.

Champion innovation, creativity and storytelling across client work. Team Management Mentor, coach and develop copywriters and junior creatives. Foster a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing creative culture. Support recruitment, onboarding and development of creative talent. Provide constructive feedback and performance guidance to team members.

Client Partnership Build trusted relationships with clients and senior stakeholders. Confidently present creative concepts and rationale to clients. Respond to client feedback while protecting the integrity of the creative idea. Contribute to new business pitches and growth opportunities. Creative Development & Delivery Oversee the creation of copy across a range of channels including brand campaigns, digital, social, content, experiential and CRM.

Ensure consistency of tone of voice and brand messaging. Maintain quality control throughout the creative development process. Collaborate closely with strategy, design, production and account teams to deliver work effectively. Commercial & Operational Contribution Support effective resource planning and workload management within creative teams.

Manage projects to agreed timelines and budgets. Contribute to creative effectiveness and business growth objectives. Identify opportunities to enhance client relationships and grow accounts. Skills & Experience Essential Significant experience in a senior copywriting or creative leadership role within an agency or in-house creative environment.

Strong portfolio demonstrating award-worthy or highly effective creative campaigns. Excellent conceptual thinking and storytelling skills. Experience leading integrated campaigns across multiple channels. Strong presentation, communication and influencing skills. Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop creative talent.

Desirable Experience across B2B and B2C marketing environments. Experience contributing to new business pitches and agency growth. Understanding of emerging creative technologies, digital trends and social platforms.
