About the Role

A Potbelly Team Member helps bring the joy back to lunch. You’ll create a great experience at our Potbelly Sandwich Shop by delivering fast, friendly service and consistently serving high-quality food in a clean, welcoming environment. What You’ll Do Deliver fast, friendly, and accurate customer service Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other menu items to Potbelly standards Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards Work across multiple stations (prep, register, food line, etc.)

Restock supplies and keep the shop organized Handle cash transactions and customer orders Resolve customer concerns with professionalism What you Bring to the Team You are friendly and customer service oriented You have strong communication skills You enjoy problem-solving You love working in a fast-paced environment Basic Qualifications You can handle potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish You can handle the ambient heat of the kitchen You’re at least 15 years old You're able to stand/walk for 4-6 hours or as needed You’re able to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 20 pounds occasionally You are applying to work with a franchisee of Potbelly Corporate.

If hired, the franchisee will be your only employer. Franchisees are independent business owners who set own terms of employment, including wage and benefit programs, which can vary between franchisees.
