Tool Crib Attendant

SUMMARY The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for the documentation, control, fill-levels and organization of the Tool Crib.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Generates purchase requisitions for all equipment spare parts and MRP supplies. Sets-up new spare parts in SAP system and establishes stock locations. Maintains spare part "sign-out" register to identify inventory that has been issued. Establishes minimum and maximum inventory levels to achieve budgeted targets. Unloads and stocks all deliveries and completes receiving procedures.

Maintains organization, orderliness and cleanliness of the stock areas in all crib locations. Returns all incorrect deliveries and tool/part repairs. Adjusts inventory levels in SAP system. Audits and expedites overdue or hot parts as required. Identifies local sourcing of hard-to-get or expensive repair parts. Compiles usage reports to identify high or unusual part issues.

Loads all equipment into SAP system. Manages all equipment PM's by loading them into SAP system. Establishes and maintains complete history files of all equipment. Tags all spare parts with stock item number to assist maintenance technicians with identification. Applies asset numbers to machinery and equipment. Receives all non-inventory MRO items and service Performs other typical clerical duties as required by Supervisor or Manager.

Overtime is a requirement for the position.

EDUCATION
