Job Summary

You will be responsible for delivering 4-star food and beverage service to local and international guests, ensuring high hospitality standards, prompt service, and strict compliance with local health regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome guests, present menus, explain daily specials, and take accurate orders using the POS system. Service Delivery: Serve meals and drinks efficiently according to 4-star fine dining standards, handle special dietary requests, and upsell menu items. Table & Station Care: Set up tables, restock service stations (mise-en-place), and clear dishes promptly to maintain a clean dining environment.

Billing & Payments: Process accurate bills, accept cash/card payments, charge room accounts, and balance sales at the end of shifts. Hygiene & Compliance: Maintain strict personal hygiene and adhere to County Food Safety standards.

Requirements

Certificate or Diploma in Food & Beverage Service / Hospitality. Experience: Six months minimum F&B service experience in a 3- or 4-star hotel or high-end restaurant. Certification: Valid County Food Handlers Certificate. Core Skills Excellent communication in English and Kiswahili (additional languages a plus). Proficiency in hospitality POS systems (e.

g., Micros). Knowledge of local and international cuisine, beverages, and table etiquette. Neat grooming, strong interpersonal skills, and physical stamina for long shifts.
