We are seeking an experienced Client Service Representative to join our team of dedicated veterinary professionals at our fast-paced multi-doctor practice located in Long Beach.

Each of our CSRs must possess good critical-thinking, problem-solving and inter-personal skills as well as compassion, a positive attitude, dedication and excellent communication skills. Multi- tasking, taking direction and accepting constructive criticism is essential. Punctuality and reliability is expected. Why We Need You As the face of VCA the Client Service Representative sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each customer's trust and confidence in our abilities.

The CSR is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for: Customer service functions such as greeting clients and patients, answering telephones, scheduling and confirming appointments Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients Requesting medical records and maintaining client and patient accounts accurately Presenting and explaining treatment plans and payment options.

Recommending products or services to clients based on pet’s needs Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and parasite prevention). Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
