Company Overview

Join PMG Master Holdings, LLC as a full-time Maintenance Mechanic at our Romulus, Michigan manufacturing facility. PMG manufactures and distributes pavement-maintenance materials, and this position plays a direct role in keeping our production and rental equipment operating safely and reliably.

This is a hands-on industrial maintenance position involving mixers, pumps, motors, drives, storage tanks, silos, product-transfer systems, and rental equipment. PMG offers benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and opportunities to expand your technical knowledge across a variety of mechanical and electrical systems.

What Would You Do as a Maintenance Mechanic?

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production, rental, and facility equipment.

Your responsibilities

  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical equipment failures
  • Completing preventive maintenance on mixers, pumps, motors, bearings, belts, seals, tanks, and related equipment
  • Troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Repairing motors, drives, starters, relays, contactors, switches, and other electrical components
  • Performing welding, cutting, and basic metal fabrication
  • Responding to production breakdowns and returning equipment to service safely
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance and repair records
  • Supporting general facility repairs when needed

The standard schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime and occasional weekend work based on operational needs.

Training will be provided on PMG's specific equipment and manufacturing processes. However, the successful candidate should already possess strong mechanical fundamentals and the ability to troubleshoot equipment safely and effectively.

Does This Sound Like You?

You may be a strong fit if you:

  • Have hands-on industrial, manufacturing, heavy-equipment, or process-equipment maintenance experience
  • Can diagnose equipment problems instead of relying solely on parts replacement
  • Are comfortable working with pumps, motors, belts, bearings, shafts, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Can safely use a multimeter and troubleshoot electrical systems
  • Have welding or metal-fabrication experience
  • Understand preventive maintenance and lockout/tagout procedures
  • Are comfortable working in a hands-on industrial environment that may be dirty, hot, cold, indoors, or outdoors
  • Can prioritize repairs and communicate effectively with production and operations
  • Have a valid driver's license and a high school diploma or GED

Our Team Needs You!

If you are a dependable, hands-on mechanic who enjoys solving equipment problems and keeping operations moving, we encourage you to apply today.

Conducting background checks, employee eligibility verifications, and schedule pre-hire screening requirements, including but not limited to drug testing and physicals is one of the essential duties for this position.
