Maintenance Mechanic

• Oklahoma City, OK, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Days, Job Category: Facilities, Under the general supervision of the Plant Operations Director, the Maintenance Mechanic II performs maintenance, repairs, and installation of hospital and clinic equipment and mechanical systems. Maintains accurate records and ensures enlistment of new equipment in to the facility Equipment Management System.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); Associates degree in relevant field of study and 2 years of work-related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. ODL Class II Boiler Operator license obtained within 6 months of hire. Competency in diverse relevant maintenance experience including Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, Plant Operations, Problem Solving and Critical Thinking.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION: Experience in hospital maintenance field; Mechanical Journeyman License; Relevant experience in troubleshooting main components in plant operations and building maintenance, involving critical thinking skills.
