Food & Beverage Operations Manager: Brand New Opening (Village Hotel Sheffield) There is nothing quite like the buzz of opening a brand new hotel. Everything is immaculate, fresh, and completely untouched. We are opening Village Hotel Sheffield, and we need a phenomenal Food & Beverage Operations Manager to take total ownership of our F&B spaces from day zero.

Just to be crystal clear on timelines: we are moving fast. Interviews are happening week commencing 16th November. You will officially start with us in January , well before the doors open, giving you the time and space to set up your operation, train your team, and test your systems before the first guest or delegate walks in.

Your Remit: How You Will Run It You are not inheriting someone else's tired systems or inherited problems. You are building this from scratch. You will run a multi-faceted operation, owning the commercial strategy across both our bustling Pub & Grill and high-volume Meeting & Events spaces. To make this opening a massive success, here is exactly how you will need to sequence your focus: First: The Pre-Opening Setup & The Team.

Starting in January, you are recruiting your own people. You will hire, train, and develop your F&B Managers and Team Leaders, ensuring every single team member has tasted and mastered the new menus. You get to set a culture of absolute excellence and teamwork immediately. Second: The Commercial Hustle & Local Buzz. You will proactively protect the bottom line and drive revenue.

You will manage your wage costs using Fourth, hit your beverage and food Gross Profit targets, and control your stock using Venpower. Crucially, you will also be our local sales champion, driving outreach plans and events to secure a top 10 spot on TripAdvisor for your local area. Third: The Floor & The Standard. You are the pace setter.

You will lead high-energy pre-shift briefings and translate commercial strategy into action. You will be visibly present on the floor, ensuring every single point of sale delivers a warm, vibrant welcome and exceptional hospitality. Why Village?
