Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join an engineering team building infrastructure for AI and machine learning platforms. In this backend and platform engineering role, you will own the reliability, scale, performance, and developer experience of core systems, helping the team build and operate services safely and efficiently.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own production uptime, latency, provisioning speed, infrastructure costs, and incident response for platform services.
• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes/EKS, Helm, Docker, EC2, Code. Build, ECR, S3, IAM, networking, and secrets management.
• Improve systems for scale through capacity planning, autoscaling, queueing, backpressure, retries, cleanup jobs, and rollback paths.
• Develop dashboards, alerts, logs, traces, SLOs, runbooks, and on-call workflows to support rapid diagnosis and resolution.
• Build CI/CD pipelines, release automation, environment management, and safe deployment workflows.
• Write production code for infrastructure automation, backend services, and internal developer tools.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 2 years of experience in platform, backend, or infrastructure engineering, with around 2 to 4 years preferred.
• Production experience operating AWS cloud infrastructure and containerized systems, including Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, networking, load balancers, and secrets management.
• Experience owning reliability and incident response, and implementing observability, CI/CD, and safe release workflows.
• Strong backend engineering judgment across service architecture, APIs, databases, and asynchronous systems.
• Experience with AI or machine learning platforms, or other data-heavy systems, and designing for bursty workloads, long-running jobs, distributed workers, or high concurrency.
• A track record of improving cloud costs and developer productivity through engineering.

COMPENSATION

& BENEFITS Salary range: $100,000 to $170,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available. LOCATION On-site in Singapore, Singapore.
