Job Description: Dispatcher/Assistant (Landstar and FedEx Custom Critical) Overview LMB Distributors, LLC, is seeking a skilled Dispatcher/Assistant with experience in Landstar and/or FedEx Custom Critical systems. This role is key to ensuring smooth operations, efficient load management, and excellent communication with drivers and clients.

We welcome remote candidates who are organized, self-motivated, and experienced in the trucking industry.

Responsibilities

Dispatch loads for a fleet operating under Landstar and FedEx Custom Critical. Use Landstar and FedEx systems to locate, book, and manage profitable loads. Communicate with drivers to ensure timely pickups, deliveries, and compliance with HOS and DOT regulations. Track and monitor loads, providing regular updates to clients and the management team.

Negotiate rates with brokers and customers to maximize profitability. Assist with administrative tasks such as driver support, document management, and basic payroll coordination. Collaborate with the management team to improve efficiency and minimize truck downtime.

Qualifications

Proven experience dispatching under Landstar and/or FedEx Custom Critical systems. Strong understanding of the trucking industry, load boards, and rate negotiation. Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. Familiarity with DOT regulations and driver HOS compliance.
