Permits Techician

This position is not designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is not subject to random drug and alcohol screening. JOB OBJECTIVE:   To receive and review residential construction, remodeling, and repair plans to ensure all required materials are submitted and in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, regulations and ordinances; to process building permit applications for new construction or building modifications; to calculate fees, collect monies, issue receipts and issue permits in compliance with applicable ordinances, regulations, policies and  procedures.
