Job description

Posting Title: Gynecologist Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹3.5LPM to 4LPM Work Experience: 0-1 year Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive gynecological examinations and assessments to diagnose and manage reproductive health conditions. Conduct and manage normal vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections in collaboration with obstetric and surgical teams.

Perform a wide range of surgical procedures including D&C, LEEP, hysterectomy, myomectomy, oophorectomy, tubal ligation, and pelvic floor repair. Carry out minimally invasive surgeries such as laparoscopy and hysteroscopy for the treatment of fibroids, cysts, endometriosis, and other gynecological pathologies. Provide preoperative and postoperative care, including patient counseling, monitoring recovery, and managing complications.

Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including obstetricians, anesthesiologists, nurses, and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care. Participate in on-call duties and emergency gynecological care as required.

Stay updated with the latest clinical guidelines, research, and advancements in gynecology through continuous professional development.

Requirements

MBBS degree with a recognized specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology (DGO or equivalent). Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent state medical council). Demonstrated proficiency in core gynecological procedures including D&C, LEEP, hysterectomy, myomectomy, oophorectomy, tubal ligation, pelvic floor repair, normal vaginal delivery, and cesarean section.

Hands-on experience in laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, including fibroid and cyst surgery. Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to work in high-pressure environments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-first approach. Willingness to work in rotating shifts and on-call schedules as per hospital requirements.
