Job description
Essential Job Functions : Files Medicare, Medicaid, Worker’s Compensation and private insurance claims for EMS, both electronically and on paper; contacts debtors by telephone and in writing; locates missing debtors using assorted skip tracing techniques; r esponsible for confidential material; composes and prepares various billing and collection letters; prepares accounts to be turned over to a collection agency; prepares and files a variety of court documents for filing or releasing liens; maintains records of work performed; performs various other tasks to facilitate the distribution and collection of bills.
