We believe in our product and craft each piece of furniture with pride and care Position Summary: We are looking for a dependable individual with great attention to detail to join our manufacturing team in Hickory, NC as an experienced Fabric, Denim, and Pillow Cutter.

Key Responsibilities

Lay out fabric on marking table. Understand fabrics and how each fabric should be cut. (EX. Plaids, stripes, plains, 5 stars, spots, etc.) Read and understand patterns made for specific styles of furniture. Operate electric cutting tools and non-powered tools (scissors) to cut fabric according to specified measurements and patterns.

Label and bundle pieces after the cutting process is complete. Wear required PPE including, but not limited to, Safety Glasses and Cut resistance gloves. Inspect fabric for defects and ensure quality standards are met. Collaborate with the sewing team to ensure accurate cutting of fabric pieces. Scan tickets using computer system for tracking.

Maintain and clean cutting equipment to ensure proper functioning. Organize and store fabric rolls and remnants. Candidates that would be a great fit: Have previous manufacturing experience Be able to stand and move around 8-9 hours a day and work independently. Be able to consistently lift up to 50 lbs. Have strong attention to detail.

Shift: Monday to Thursday 7am – 4:30pm & Friday 7a-11a Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 (depends on experience)
