Job description
Job Title: Business Process Associate Reports To: Director of Planning and Logistics Location: Waco, TX Job Summary The Business Process Associate supports the improvement, standardization, and reporting of business processes across North America. This role develops and maintains Power BI dashboards, consolidates and validates data from multiple sources, and provides reporting that helps leaders identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Consolidate data from ERP systems, spreadsheets, databases, and other business sources
- Monitor and report key performance indicators related to demand, backlog, production, capacity, inventory, delivery performance, and other operational priorities
- Analyze business data to identify trends, performance gaps, bottlenecks, and potential risks
- Validate data accuracy and work with stakeholders to resolve reporting discrepancies
- Prepare recurring reports, presentations, and supporting materials for operational review meetings
- Automate and streamline recurring reports and manual data processes
- Document current processes, workflows, reporting procedures, and data definitions
- Identify opportunities to improve, standardize, and automate business processes
- Support the implementation of new processes, reporting tools, and system enhancements Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and develop corrective actions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and data analysis
- Experience developing reports or dashboards using PowerBI or a similar business intelligence platform
- Ability to organize, validate, and interpret data from multiple sources
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% within North America Preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, operations, supply chain, or data analytics
- Experience supporting SIOP, supply planning, or manufacturing operations
- Working knowledge of Power Query, DAX, and data modeling within PowerBI
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies, process mapping, or Lean principles
