Job Title: Regional Account Liaison Job Category: Sales Department/Group: Sales Internal Team: Sales/Operations Description of Responsibilities ROLE AND RESPOSIBILITIES The Regional Account Liaison

  • (Specialty Sales) is responsible for driving the adoption and appropriate use of multiple specialty therapies within an assigned territory. This role builds strong relationships with advanced practice providers, pharmacists, and key healthcare stakeholders by providing product education, clinical support, and customer service while achieving territory sales objectives. The role combines pharmaceutical sales, account management, clinical education, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Promote various specialty products to private practices, hospitals, specialty pharmacies, and integrated health systems. Develop and execute strategic territory business plans to meet or exceed sales goals. Identify and develop relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and influential healthcare providers. Collaborate with specialty pharmacies and reimbursement teams to help address patient access challenges.

Analyze market trends, prescribing patterns, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities. Conduct in-person and virtual educational presentations for healthcare providers and office staff. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and territory performance using CRM systems. Partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Patient Support teams to deliver a coordinated customer experience.

Attend regional and national conferences, educational programs, and industry meetings. Ensure all activities comply with FDA regulations, company policies, and industry compliance standards. Reporting Responsibilities for both unless otherwise specified Will report to the VP of Specialty Sales. Qualifications, Education and Training for both unless otherwise specified Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related field.

2–5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology sales experience. Experience in specialty pharmaceutical sales preferred. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Ability to interpret clinical studies and communicate scientific information effectively.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications

Specialty pharmaceutical experience. Experience working with specialty pharmacies and reimbursement processes. Knowledge of various specialty treatment protocols. Existing relationships within oncology practices in the assigned territory. Frequent travel to physician offices, cancer centers, hospitals, and conferences. Combination of independent territory management and collaboration with internal teams. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit, as well as talk and hear. The employee is required to use hands to operate vehicles and office equipment.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
