ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Perform cleaning procedures of patient rooms and common areas throughout the Hospital. Maintain adequate linen supply for all departments. Remove waste and soiled linens using proper disposal procedures. Operate housekeeping mechanical equipment. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: As assigned. KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITIES: Ability to read, write, and speak English preferred.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Education – High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Work Experience – Prior cleaning experience in a health care or institutional setting preferred. Training – License/Certification – ENVIROMENTAL CONDITIONS: Work environment consists of daily patient contact, which may include exposure to blood, or other body fluids.
