Staff Nurse, R.N. (Part-time and Per Diem)

Performs professional work as the second licensed Nurse in a Nursing unit during the day shift, or as the Charge Nurse on the evening and night shifts or as needed on a day shifts. Primarily responsible for the administration of medications and treatments, IV’s, drawing blood, relieving the Charge Nurse or Patient Care Coordinator, assisting with the supervision of Nursing Assistants, and assisting with the administrative work of the unit.

Reports to a Patient Care Coordinator or Charge Nurse on the unit. Position carries a Blood and Body Fluid Exposure Risk Level I.
