Senior Director for Residential Services

Connie Maxwell Children's Ministries is seeking a Christ-centered individual to serve as a Senior Director for Residential Services.

This position will work alongside the VP for Programs and Services, and a national leading expert consultant in child welfare and group homes, to create a dynamic and innovative culture of healing for vulnerable children and families. This position is responsible for ensuring excellence in trauma-informed care, child welfare practice, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and service delivery while promoting the individualized nurture, healing, and growth of children and families entrusted to Connie Maxwell.

The Senior Director of Residential Services serves as a key member of the Programs & Services Leadership Team and is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive residential programming that aligns with Connie Maxwell's mission, strategic vision, evidence-informed practices, Christian values, and commitment to providing hope, healing, and opportunity for children and families.

This leader will champion innovation, research, staff development, family engagement, and organizational excellence while helping prepare Connie Maxwell for future service expansion through the Healing Center and integrated care initiatives. This position requires a Master's degree from an accredited college in counseling, psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, human services, child development, or related social science field and f ive to ten years of demonstrated competence required in the administration and supervision of child welfare services or a related social science profession.

The Senior Director for Residential Services will work on our beautiful 470-acre campus with access to Maxwell Farms and Connie Maxwell Baptist Church. Maxwell Farms offers respite for our children and families through a wide variety of activities like nature trails, a petting zoo, fishing, a ropes course, and horseback riding. Connie Maxwell Baptist Church holds a rich history of offering foundational hope and healing by ministering the Word of God. We are situated in Uptown Greenwood, 20 minutes from Lake Greenwood, 2 hours from the mountains and 3 hours from the beach.
