About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Individual Contributor to lead proposal cost strategy and drive commercial competitiveness across our global operations. In this role, you will take ownership of cost setting for proposals, ensuring alignment with long-term procurement and sourcing strategies. You will work cross-functionally with regional teams and global stakeholders to strengthen cost transparency, improve tools and processes, and enhance overall proposal quality and success rates.
Your Responsibilities
Proposal Costing & Strategy Own and drive cost setting for proposals, ensuring alignment with regional and global business strategies Provide expert guidance to internal stakeholders to ensure sustainable and competitive cost structures Support decision-making by delivering transparent and data-driven cost analyses Cost Tools & Data Development Lead the continuous improvement of cost estimation tools and methodologies Build, maintain, and enhance the global cost database to support accurate and consistent costing Promote standardization and data integrity across regions Sourcing & Procurement Alignment Contribute to the development and execution of sourcing strategies aligned with overall procurement objectives Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure cost competitiveness through optimized supplier strategies Proposal Governance & Oversight Maintain a clear overview of proposal activities, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely execution Ensure adherence to established tools, templates, and processes across all regions Global Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement Coordinate proposal-related strategic initiatives across regions and at global level Act as a key interface between regional teams and global leadership Drive alignment and knowledge sharing across the organization Safety & Culture Promote a strong culture of safety for employees and stakeholders Ensure safety considerations are integrated into all operational and proposal-related activities You bring Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline (advanced degree is an advantage) Significant experience in procurement, proposal management, cost engineering, or a similar role Strong understanding of global sourcing and cost structures Proven ability to work independently and manage complex topics with limited supervision Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Analytical mindset with strong data interpretation capabilities Experience working in a global and cross-cultural environment This role is designed for a Senior Individual Contributor who: Operates with a high degree of autonomy Handles complex and strategic challenges Influences decisions across functions without formal authority Coaches and supports less experienced team members where relevant Success Criteria (Examples) Improved proposal hit rate (volume and value) Increased cost accuracy and competitiveness Adoption and effectiveness of cost estimation tools Strengthened alignment between sourcing strategy and proposal outcomes As an equal opportunity employer, Fuller Technologies embraces diversity and equality by promoting an environment of inclusion.
