Your role and responsibilities We are seeking a seasoned Warehousing EWM Lead to serve as a Senior Consultant on a critical SAP implementation/optimization project. This unique role combines deep warehouse operational expertise with SAP EWM consulting capabilities to drive digital transformation and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions while maintaining operational stability and he has besides EWM detailed knowledge also experience with SAP WM.
Responsibilities include
SAP Project Leadership •Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP EWM implementation, upgrade, or optimization projects •Lead requirements gathering workshops with stakeholders across warehouse operations •Design and configure SAP EWM solutions aligned with business processes and best practices •Develop functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for custom developments •Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation activities •Lead a team consisting of IBM resources as well as client staff.
Business Process Consulting •Analyze current warehouse operations and identify process improvement opportunities •Design future-state warehouse processes leveraging SAP WM/EWM capabilities •Map business requirements to SAP standard functionality and identify gaps •Recommend and implement workflow optimization strategies using SAP tools •Facilitate change management and drive user adoption of new systems and processes •Advise on best practices for connecting local hardware supporting warehouse operations •Deliver work products according to IBM obligations Required technical and professional expertise
- 10+ years of warehouse operations and management experience
- 10+ years hands-on experience with SAP WM/EWM in operational and/or consulting capacity
- 3+ years of team leadership or supervisory experience
- Proven track record leading or participating in at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations
- Valid passport for a NATO country - required Education & Certifications •Min. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field •Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile) is a plus Preferred technical and professional experience * Experience with SAP S/4HANA environment * Experience working in defense contracting or military support organizations or government nice to have * SAP WM and/or EWM certification strongly preferred IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
