Customer Service Specialist - Bohemia, NY or Ann Arbor, MI

The Customer Service Specialist executes order-to-cash processes, resolves customer and order-related issues through proactive communication, and maintains accurate customer and order information to ensure reliable fulfillment throughout the order lifecycle. Hybrid — 3 days in‑office per week What you will accomplish together with us: Process customer orders by ensuring accurate entry, timely updates, and compliant handling across ERP and CRM systems throughout the order lifecycle to support timely and accurate fulfillment.

Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, commercial clarifications, and order-related issues, including delivery escalations and payment-related order blockers, by investigating the underlying cause and collaborating with Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance to coordinate appropriate follow-up and resolution. Monitor delivery dates, backorders, delays, returns, blocked orders, and shipment issues by identifying deviations, coordinating required activities, and proactively communicating impacts and available alternatives to customers.

Maintain accurate customer, order, and contractual data and prepare standard operational and customer complaint reports by verifying data completeness and correcting identified discrepancies to support customer and commercial commitments. Follow all company policies, procedures, and relevant legal requirements, including Health and Safety rules and regulations.
