Role Overview The successful candidate will take responsibility for a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, managing the preparation and review of accounts and audits, and acting as a key advisor to business owners and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring the highest standard of service delivery Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP Lead and coordinate audit engagements from planning to finalisation Supervise and support junior staff, reviewing work and providing mentorship Maintain regular contact with clients to provide proactive financial and business advice Monitor deadlines, budgets, and job progress to ensure efficiency Identify and pursue opportunities to add value and grow client relationships Candidate Requirements ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a general practice environment Demonstrable experience in both audit and accounts preparation Excellent technical knowledge and strong analytical skills Confident communicator, capable of building strong client relationships Proficiency with common accounting software (e.
g., IRIS, CCH, Case.
