POSITION-Classroom Assistant III or II QUALIFICATIONS: Classroom Assistant III Bachelor's (Required) PA Professional Teaching Certificate in Special Education, Elementary Education, and/or Early Childhood Education (Required) Special Education Experience: 1 Year (Preferred) Prior experience working with children with disabilities (ages birth to 8) preferred. Acceptable Criminal Record Check required. Acceptable Child Abuse History Clearance required. Acceptable Department of Education FBI Clearance required. Passing of physical examination and TB required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Position-Classroom Assistant II Associates or Bachelors required (preferably with major in Child Care, Elementary Education, Special Education or Human Services field). Evidence of 20 hours of annual staff development training related to position assignment required. Prior experience working with children with disabilities (ages birth to 8) preferred.

Acceptable Criminal Record Check required. Acceptable Child Abuse History Clearance required. Acceptable Department of Education FBI Clearance required. Passing of physical examination and TB required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

AND RESPONSIBILITIES-Classroom Assistant Planning and implementing activities to enhance students' skills. Assisting in implementing the students' IEP. Providing a safe and accepting classroom. • Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 7-hours days. Working 35 hours per week, with a typical school calendar of 9.5 months per year! The hourly rate range is from $20-$23.
