Hand Grind & Polish Technician

HAND GRIND & POLISH TECHNICIAN (Permanent) Our client, a manufacturing organization headquartered in WNY, is looking to add a Hand Grind & Polish Technician to their growing team. This position is located in the Northtowns and is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude who is looking for long-term growth opportunities in a stable environment.

Responsibilities

Perform deburring, grinding, and polishing operations on machined metal parts (steel & aluminum) ensuring results follow customer requirements, match blueprint specifications, and achieve established quality standards Utilize pneumatic and manual tools to produce high-quality, specified surface finishes and defect-free components Review and interpret technical documentation—work instructions, blueprints, & prints—to ensure products meet required specifications Install threaded inserts, including Helicoils and Keenserts, into manufactured components according to production requirements Perform visual assessments while cleaning and washing finished parts to maintain quality standards Ensure compliance is maintained with all safety procedures, PPE requirements, ISO standards, and company policies Cross-train for other department to provide assistance and support when production requires it Work well in a team environment as well as independently Other duties as assigned/as necessary Details: Position is full-time, direct hire 100% in-office; 1 st shift: 7:30am-3:30pm $20.
