Job Summary
The Property Officer will be responsible for supporting the administration and coordination of Digita Properties' real estate investment portfolios across Jamaica. This will include managing property records and documentation, coordinating due diligence activities, and liaising with attorneys, surveyors, and third-party agents.
You will also be responsible for onboarding investors, preparing subscription agreements, and maintaining a structured client database. To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in real estate administration, property management, or a related field, as well as strong organisational and communication skills.
You must also demonstrate a high level of professionalism and attention to detail to effectively manage the day-to-day operations of the Digita Properties. Roles & Responsibilities Property Administration & Coordination Manage and maintain accurate records of property listings, ownership registers, and investment documentation.
Coordinate due diligence activities including title searches, valuations, and property inspections in liaison with legal and technical advisors. Track key milestones across active property transactions and ensure timely follow-through on action items. Liaise with attorneys, surveyors, and third-party agents as required throughout the property cycle.
Client Relations & Investor Onboarding Serve as a primary point of contact for investors, addressing queries with professionalism and accuracy. Prepare and distribute investor onboarding packs, subscription agreements, and related documentation. Communicate investment updates, property performance summaries, and relevant correspondence to investors.
Maintain a structured client database and ensure records are current and compliant. Marketing & Listings Support Support the preparation and distribution of property listings, investment prospectuses, and digital marketing content. Coordinate property viewings, virtual tours, and investor presentations as directed. Assist with social media updates and content scheduling relevant to property listings and investment opportunities.
Compliance & Reporting Ensure all investment documentation is prepared and stored in accordance with applicable Jamaican regulatory requirements. Support preparation of periodic management reports on portfolio performance, investor activity, and pipeline status. Flag any compliance concerns or documentation gaps to the Director promptly.
Requirements
Required Minimum of a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or a related discipline. At least two (2) years of experience in real estate administration, property management, financial services, or a client-facing administrative role. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and digital collaboration tools. High attention to detail and strong organisational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience in property investment administration or real estate development.
Familiarity with Jamaican property law, land registration processes, and NHT/KSAC procedures. A background in HR, compliance, or project coordination is an asset. Experience with CRM platforms or property management software.
