Facilities Coordinator

Our care philosophy is guided by the following core principles: Dignity and Respect Information Sharing Participation Collaboration JOB PURPOSE Under the direction of the V.P. of Facilities # Support Services, provide support to all staffed departments within the Facilities # Support Services hierarchy, including Plant Operations and Maintenance, Environmental Services, Laundry, Communications, and Food # Nutrition.

Additionally, provide administrative # logistical support for all contracted service providers.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:##Bachelor#s degree or equivalent experience in operations management. EXPERIENCE:##Minimum of five (5) years# experience in an operations setting; Healthcare experience is strongly preferred; TECHNOLOGY:##Aptitude for utilizing computers, databases, and spreadsheets is required. LICENSURE:##Must possess a valid State-issued driver#s license.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Strong organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to take initiative, be self-motivated, and work independently. Possess effective time-management skills and the ability to prioritize. Possess working knowledge of The Joint Commission standards.

Ability to work in a team-centered environment. Ability to work in various geographical locations, as deemed necessary in support of the Facilities # Support Services Department. # PHYSICAL DEMANDS Maximum lifting capability of 50 lbs. Ability to periodically climb ladders. Frequent amount of sitting, standing, and walking.

Frequent amount of computer and telephone use. # SCHEDULE Generally, Monday through Friday, day shift.
