Kiddie Capers Childcare Hailsham is a brand-new nursery designed to be a bright, welcoming space where children and staff can thrive. With places for up to 80 children aged 0–5 years, the nursery features dedicated age-specific rooms, a cosy sleep room, a sensory room, and secure outdoor spaces, including a baby garden, a forest school area, and an older children’s play area.

Every detail is carefully designed to create a nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow with confidence. As a Nursery Assistant , you will support the nursery team in providing high-quality care and early education for young children. Working alongside experienced staff, you will help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

You will assist in following the EYFS framework to support children’s individual development and contribute to building positive relationships with families and colleagues. This role is the cover staff lunches across the week and the hours are; Monday-Friday 11:30am-14:30pm (15 hours per week) We will be recruiting 1 x Term Time role and 1 x All Year Round role.

00-£12.71 per hour Provide high quality care and activities for children which recognise both individual and group requirements in a secure, safe and stimulating environment Follow the appropriate guidance and frameworks for younger children, e.g. Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Be aware of child protection issues and follow the Nursery’s child protection procedures Prepare and serve food, milk, drinks and snacks to children in accordance with the nurseries Food Hygiene policy and Local Authority guidelines Actively promote positive behaviour in all areas relating to food, nutrition and eating Prepare areas for eating, ensuring they meet high standards of cleanliness.
