We deepen support for high-value verticals such as music and short drama, enriching the range of content on the platform so users find high-quality, diverse professional work.

Scaling a diverse, sustainable professional content ecosystem across global markets requires building for different content formats and business models, aligning creator incentives with audience value, and upholding copyright and content integrity standards.

You will shape the creator support system and the content ecosystem, raising the quality of what people discover on TikTok.

The TikTok PGC Ecosystem & Platform team focuses on building scalable AI platforms and intelligent applications to empower TikTok's global business. Our strategy centers on two key pillars: AI Democratization and Agentic AI Applications.

AI Democratization focuses on developing AI platforms, infrastructure, data flywheels, and post-training toolchains to make advanced AI capabilities accessible across teams, enabling faster experimentation and innovation.

Agentic AI Applications focuses on building AI agent frameworks, tool ecosystems, and automation infrastructure to streamline complex business workflows and improve operational efficiency at scale.

By leveraging TikTok's large-scale data, infrastructure, and business ecosystem, we aim to pioneer the next generation of Agentic Enterprise solutions, enabling intelligent automation across global operations and products.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical strategy and architecture for enterprise-grade Agentic AI platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
• Design and build agent frameworks, multi-agent systems, workflow orchestration, and extensible tool ecosystems.
• Develop evaluation frameworks, harness engineering infrastructure, observability, and data flywheels to continuously improve agent performance and reliability.
• Partner with infrastructure teams to advance AI-native architectures, including data infrastructure, security, and governance.
• Own the Agentic AI platform roadmap, delivering scalable AI capabilities across TikTok's global business ecosystem.
• Collaborate with global operations and product teams to identify automation opportunities, optimize workflows, and drive measurable business impact.
• Drive platform adoption, cross-functional collaboration, and execution of strategic AI initiatives.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across AI/ML, Engineering, Platform Product, and Technical Operations.
• Drive technical innovation, engineering excellence, talent development, and adoption of AI-native development practices.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree or above in Computer Science, AI, Mathematics, or a related technical field, with strong expertise in software engineering, distributed systems, or machine learning.
• Hands-on experience building production-grade AI systems, agent platforms, or enterprise-scale AI infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of LLM technologies, including Transformers, SFT, RLHF, and leading model families (GPT, Claude, Llama, Qwen).
• Experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, or Semantic Kernel, including customization and integration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with harness engineering, data annotation platforms, synthetic data pipelines, or AI training infrastructure.
• Experience operating large-scale agent systems, including concurrency, fault tolerance, state management, and observability.
• Expertise in advanced RAG, retrieval optimization, context engineering, and agent evaluation.
• Open-source contributions or publications in AI/ML-related fields.
