AI Product Manager Graduate (Live Streaming Safety) - 2027 Start

About the Team

The TikTok Safety & Product team is dedicated to building a safe, trusted, and resilient live streaming ecosystem for users, creators, and partners around the world. Based in Singapore, this role sits within an international and cross-functional environment, working closely with Product, Engineering, Algorithms, Moderation, and Operations teams to strengthen platform risk detection and governance capabilities.

Responsibilities

– Participate in safety strategy and product work for TikTok LIVE, analyze content violations, fraud, minor protection, and dangerous behaviors (e.g., distracted driving) within the live streaming ecosystem, and assist in developing and iterating full-lifecycle risk control strategies. – Help translate safety and moderation requirements into clear product logic and system solutions; contribute to building an end-to-end product loop covering machine-based interception, human review, and user education & appeals. – Support the development of core safety metrics for LIVE; track key indicators such as recall rate, precision, and user disturbance rate through data analysis, user feedback, and bad-case reviews; drive strategy improvement via A/B testing and other methods. – Work closely with global operations, legal, communications, algorithm, and engineering teams to help drive cross-departmental projects on schedule. – Monitor policies, regulations, cultural norms, and user behaviors across different countries and regions; assist in adapting live safety strategies to meet local compliance and localization requirements. – Stay current with advances in large language models and multimodal technologies; explore AI applications in live safety scenarios including nuanced violation detection, risky content recognition, human review efficiency, and anti-fraud/black-market countermeasures.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification(s)

• Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Statistics, Information Management, Public Policy, Law, Communications or a related discipline.
• Clear logical thinking and data acumen; basic data analysis skills required;
• Genuine interest in AI, large language models, and multimodal technologies with an understanding of their fundamentals and applications;
• Strong product thinking, communication and collaboration skills, and project execution mindset; able to quickly understand complex problems and break them down into actionable solutions.

Preferred Qualification(s)

• Strong interest in internet products, live streaming ecosystems, content governance, risk control, or Trust & Safety; solid user empathy and risk sensitivity.
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, or other data tools is a plus.
• Prior coursework, research, competitions, or internships in AI products, content governance, or risk control is a plus.
