Patient Representative Location: Kansas City, MO, 64116 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Representative to join our healthcare team in Kansas City, MO. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring a positive patient experience by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and facilitating communication.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist patients upon arrival, providing information and guidance as needed. Answer patient inquiries via phone, email, or in-person promptly and professionally. Schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinating with medical staff and departments. Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation.

Address patient concerns and complaints, escalating issues to appropriate personnel when necessary. Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the healthcare system. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and communication. Educate patients about hospital policies, procedures, and available services.

Support billing and insurance inquiries by directing patients to the appropriate departments.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or higher preferred. Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency with computer systems and patient management software. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
