• Hickory, NC, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Day, Position Summary The RHF International Customer Service Associate is responsible for ensuring and supporting RHF customers and the sales organization in managing the customers' requirements and needs. The associate is an all-encompassing position that is expected to work closely with all organizations (internal & external) to own and ensure customer needs are met. Position Details The position has full account responsibility and acts as a liaison for the customer with the entire organization. They provide detailed product information and procedural direction. They will also partner with the Sales Representatives managing customers’ needs and requests. Daily duties are significantly varied and includes but are not limited to: Providing production specifications, pricing, configuration, and availability information Entry of (highly configured) orders, credits, return authorizations, and order changes Manage the cash in advance process, with checks and credit card receipts, to maximize shipping for the customer Working closely with manufacturing and sourcing organizations to ensure completion dates are accurate and that production is completed on time Managing new accounts or special shipping needs, tracking key orders, and ensuring that the items will be manufactured within an expected time frame. Ensuring pricing is accurate for all orders including promotional and sale periods and that the customer meets all requirements. Working closely with the customer, designers, and operational staff in the overall business requirements Oversees all logistical needs and requirements for domestic and international shipments. Prospecting accounts for service needs and sales opportunities General The CSR is expected to completely manage and work closely with their accounts while providing a very high level of personalized, partnered service in a considerate manner. This position requires that the individual be capable of juggling many complex requests at one time in a very high paced atmosphere. The CSR will need have a strong knowledge of product and understand complex pricing plans.

Qualifications

Position Requirements Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written International Customer Service furniture experience Outstanding computer skills including Office, Lotus Notes, SAP, communication systems College degree or significant work experience Ability to develop and document procedural suggestions or changes First-rate analytical skills Physical Requirements The physical demands and work environment expectations described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
