Vendor Development

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop vendors for raw materials, packing materials, and engineering equipment, spares, and services. Evaluate suppliers and coordinate qualification with Quality and technical teams. Obtain quotations, prepare comparisons, and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules. Develop alternate suppliers to ensure supply continuity and cost savings.

Monitor vendor quality and delivery performance; maintain vendor records in ERP. Qualification & Experience: Graduate in Engineering, Science, Pharmacy, or Supply Chain, preferably with 5–8 years of procurement and vendor development experience in pharma, chemicals, or manufacturing. Key Skills: Sourcing, negotiation, supplier evaluation, technical understanding, Excel, and ERP.
