Disaster Recovery Manager

At bpost, resilience and operational continuity are critical to our digital transformation journey. To strengthen our cyber resilience and recovery capabilities, we are looking for a Disaster Recovery Manager to join our CISO organisation. In this senior role, you will lead disaster recovery governance, testing, and coordination across business platforms, infrastructure, and cloud environments.

You will work closely with Infrastructure, Security, Cloud, Operations, and Business teams to ensure the organisation can respond effectively to major incidents and recover critical services rapidly. What will you do? Define and maintain the enterprise disaster recovery framework, policies, and standards Analyze the infrastructure and application landscape and help define the Minimum Viable Product.

Coordinate disaster recovery planning across infrastructure, cloud, applications, networks, and security domains Ensure critical systems have documented and validated RTOs and RPOs Ensure critical technology and applications have documented and reliable recovery plans Define the overarching Disaster Recovery Plan, ensuring smooth integration of the various technology or application focused disaster recovery plans.

Lead disaster recovery exercises, failover simulations, and recovery testing activities Drive continuous improvement based on lessons learned from incidents and testing Support the Major Incident Management process by coordinating recovery activities and ensuring effective execution of disaster recovery plans during major incidents.

Ensure alignment with NIS2, ISO 22301, ISO 27001, DORA, and internal security standards Collaborate with vendors and managed service providers to validate recovery readiness Report on resilience maturity, recovery risks, and remediation actions to senior stakeholders Embed resilience and recovery-by-design principles into transformation and cloud migration programs
