Digital Strategist
Job description
As a Digital Strategist at Netwise, you'll serve as the strategic and technical lead for client accounts — designing marketing solutions that draw on martech tools, web and mobile platforms, and marketing best practices to help clients hit their goals. You'll work closely with a cross-functional team of marketers, designers, developers, and project managers to bring those solutions to life.
You'll be the key point of contact for your clients, owning strategy, goal-setting, and ROI — and the person on the team who can speak fluently across marketing, tech, and tools to design a solution that actually fits. Beyond client work, you'll help raise the bar across the agency: sharing your expertise with the team, contributing to profitability, and helping Netwise continue to deliver work that sets us apart.
Responsibilities
Design and propose integrated marketing solutions — spanning martech tools, web/mobile platforms, and campaign strategy — tailored to each client's goals and tech stack. Lead and oversee the execution of digital marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with client goals. Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing detailed reports and actionable insights to clients.
Guide production engagements (website development, content, design) with enough technical fluency to make informed calls alongside developers and designers — not just manage the timeline. Act as a go-to resource for the team on marketing and martech questions, sharing knowledge and helping less experienced team members grow.
Monitor profitability and contribute to the growth of the agency by identifying opportunities to improve services. Stay current on martech tools and digital marketing trends, and bring that knowledge back to raise the quality of what we deliver for clients.
Requirements
Business-level Japanese and English 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with hands-on exposure to ad platforms and martech tools (e.g., Ad. Words, Meta Ads, LY Ads, GA4, GTM, Tik. Tok, X, CRM/SFA, CDP, and marketing automation). Experience developing multi-channel campaigns and campaign strategy. Understanding of SEO and CRO.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable recommendations. Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging clients and team members. Comfortable sharing knowledge and guiding less experienced colleagues, even without formal management experience. Solid understanding of profitability and growth metrics in a marketing context.
A proactive mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional results for clients and promoting the agency's brand. Keen attention to detail.
