Branch Manager | Commercial Insurance Broking | South Brisbane | Salary dependent on experience About the Organisation An established national Insurance Brokerage with offices in Victoria, South Australia, Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia. The Queensland branch has moved to new offices in South Brisbane.

About the Role

You'll lead the Queensland branch and drive its growth in commercial insurance. The team is four: two Account Managers, an all-rounder who manages a book and runs the office, and an assistant. You may also manage a small book. This is a growth role, not a caretaker role.

Responsibilities include

Hands-on new business development to grow the branch's commercial book Leading and developing a team of four Managing a small client portfolio where required Overseeing branch operations and service standards Reporting on branch performance to national management About You You're a commercial broker with a track record of winning new business in Queensland.

You may currently be a Branch Manager, a Senior Account Manager or an Account Director ready to lead a branch. Ideally you'll bring: A strong commercial network in South East Queensland Experience leading or mentoring a broking team Tier 1 / RG146 compliance What's on Offer A salary package dependent on experience Leadership of a branch with a clear growth mandate Three days in the office, Monday to Wednesday New South Brisbane offices Next Steps Hooker & Heijden undertake a thorough recruitment process on behalf of our clients and candidates.
