Sales Consultant

Role Purpose As a Sales Consultant at Leroy Merlin, you’ll be the face of our store, helping customers discover products and solutions that are their needs while creating a positive and welcoming shopping experience. You will be instrumental in driving sales, delivering outstanding customer service, and enhancing customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

Be the face of Leroy Merlin in-store, engaging directly with customers Help customers identify products and solutions that fit their needs Create a positive, welcoming, and helpful shopping experience Drive in-store sales through effective product knowledge and customer interaction Deliver excellent customer service at all times Build and maintain strong customer relationships Contribute to customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty Support the overall performance and success of the store Qualification and Experience Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.

1-2 years of retail sales experience, ideally in a customer-focused role. Skilled in sales techniques, negotiation, and rapport building. Knowledge of home improvement products is an asset. Comfortable using POS systems and basic computer applications. High level of accuracy and focus on detail, especially when managing displays and inventory.
