Hair Stylist

The Position: Part-Time stylist needed in busy hair salon in West Roseville. We are looking for a stylist with weekend availability and a standard schedule Friday – Sunday. Sterling Shears is a quick stop salon and focuses on haircuts for men, women, and children.

Minimum Qualifications

Current California Cosmetology License required. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience cutting hair; samples and in-person style test required. Experience with men, women, and children. Experience with fades preferred. Attributes: Friendly, self-confident, and at ease with customers and colleagues. Punctual, dependable, and responsible.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Sound judgment and decision-making ability. Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills.

Compensation

Sterling Shears stylists start at $18.00 per hour plus tips (average of $8.00-$12.00 per hour) at a very busy salon with built-in clients.
