Job description
The Production Engineer is responsible for the technical performance and optimisation of HKN Syria’s producing wells and production systems, covering production surveillance, well and reservoir performance analysis, artificial lift, and production enhancement across the field. The role works closely with operations, reservoir, facilities, and maintenance teams to monitor and improve production, reduce deferment, plan and support well interventions, and provide day-to-day production engineering support to the field. The position requires strong production engineering fundamentals, sound analytical and modelling skills, and the ability to translate well and facility data into practical actions that maximise production, recovery, and uptime in a demanding, remote field environment.
