HOUSEKEEPING ATTENDANT Quality Inn & Suites Hermosa Beach ABOUT THE PROPERTY Located in Hermosa Beach’s South Bay, Quality Inn & Suites Hermosa Beach is a recently renovated hotel offering a comfortable and convenient home base for exploring Southern California. The hotel features updated guest rooms, complimentary hot breakfast and Wi-Fi, a fitness center, outdoor whirlpool, and select ocean-view suites, along with meeting space for gatherings and events.

Situated near Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, LAX, and major Los Angeles attractions, the property offers easy access to the beach, entertainment, dining, and everything the South Bay has to offer. THE ROLE As a Housekeeping Attendant, you’ll help keep the entire hotel clean, cared for, and running smoothly. From public spaces and outdoor areas to laundry and guestroom support, you’ll be a hands-on member of the Housekeeping team who isn’t afraid to jump in wherever help is needed.

You will: Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of hotel grounds, public areas, and common spaces Remove trash and cigarette butts from hotel grounds and keep outdoor areas looking their best Clean lobbies, hallways, walkways, railings, stairwells, and other high-traffic areas Clean exterior windows, guestroom doors, sliding glass doors, and other assigned areas Maintain pool furniture, ice and vending machines, public benches, exterior light fixtures, sand urns, and dumpster areas Run laundry and assist with distributing or handling linens as needed Empty Housekeeping trash and support Room Attendants with daily housekeeping needs Shampoo carpets and turn mattresses as assigned Report maintenance concerns, damage, and missing or found items to the Housekeeping Supervisor Assist the Maintenance team with basic repairs, including minor plumbing and carpentry tasks Safely use approved cleaning products and equipment Communicate professionally and courteously with guests and fellow team members Support other departments and hotel team members wherever needed Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the property WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Success means the hotel feels clean, cared for, and welcoming from the moment guests arrive.

You’re dependable, adaptable, and proud of the role you play in keeping the entire property looking its best. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 1+ year of experience in housekeeping, hospitality, facilities, or a related role Basic cleaning skills and a strong eye for detail Basic maintenance skills are a plus Comfortable working across both indoor and outdoor areas of a hotel Ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and use good judgment Comfortable working independently while supporting a larger team Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional approach with guests Dependable, hardworking, and willing to jump in wherever needed Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and work with approved cleaning agents Ability to climb stairs and ladders as needed Ability to frequently walk, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, reach, push, pull, lift, and carry Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
