Business Development Executive: 2–5 years' experience Remote (South Africa) or Johannesburg | Full-time | Employed by Kula Kula builds and runs South African finance teams for international companies: accounting firms, lenders and growing businesses in the UK and Europe. This role is for Kula itself, not for a client.

You'll be the first voice UK and Dutch firms hear from us. The role You'll open conversations with accounting, audit and finance firms in the UK and the Netherlands, win the first meeting, and build the pipeline our South African team delivers on. You'll work closely with the founder, from first call through to signed proposal.

What you'll do

Build and work a target list of UK and Dutch accounting, audit and professional services firms Run outbound through LinkedIn, email sequences and phone, and make the calls yourself Lead first discovery conversations with partners and managing directors Keep the CRM accurate, with every contact and every next step dated Work with the founder on proposals and follow-through to signature Feed back what the market is saying so our offer gets sharper over time What we're looking for 2–5 years' experience in B2B business development, ideally selling a service rather than a product A track record of opening doors cold.

We'll ask for specific examples, not a target number Confidence speaking to senior people in another country by phone, without a script Hands-on CRM discipline (Pipedrive, Hub. Spot or similar) Excellent written English, because European firms will judge us on your first email Professional services, accounting or recruitment sales experience is a plus, not a requirement A stable remote setup with fibre and backup power What you get Salary of R20,000 – R40,000 per month gross, depending on experience Commission on closed business, set out in writing before you accept A formal South African employment contract with Kula, with PAYE and UIF handled properly Working hours aligned to UK/European business hours (about 09:00–17:30 SA time), with no night shifts Remote working from anywhere in South Africa, or from our Johannesburg office if you'd rather have company Statutory annual, sick and family responsibility leave, plus SA public holidays Direct work with the founder and a real say in how Kula grows in Europe How to apply Upload your CV and answer a few short screening questions.
