Associate (Lawyer) Corporate & Commercial

Our client, a leading law firm in Valletta, is looking for an Associate Lawyer to join their Corporate and Commercial Department , with engagement in M&A transactions. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-value corporate work within an established and reputable firm. This is a hybrid role, offering a salary of up to €50K + performance bonus.

Role & Responsibilities Manage and assist with M&A transactions, including coordinating due diligence enquiries and reviewing responses Draft and review transaction documents Draft, review and manage completion documents, ensuring all deliverables are accurate and in agreed form Provide general legal, commercial and corporate advisory support to clients Collaborate with the Corporate and Commercial team on a range of matters, under the direction of the firm’s partners Education, Skills & Experience Fully qualified lawyer An LLM or similar Master’s degree in a relevant field, or 2+ years’ post-qualification experience, is a plus Excellent communication skills in both Maltese and English, written and spoken Able to work under pressure and respect deadlines Able to work independently and within a team A motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and a commercially aware approach About the Role Salary up to €50K + performance bonus Hybrid working with flexible working hours and summer hours Health insurance and wellness programmes Parking allowance Mobile phone allowance Employee discounts On-the-job training Continuing professional development with paid study leave Excellent career growth prospects Kindly apply with your detailed CV in English.
